Patricia VIVIAN Hobbs

Vivian passed away very suddenly on September 21, 2024, in Moose Jaw hospital, surrounded by her daughters, grandchildren and other family and friends.

Vivian has now been reunited with her husband of 52 years Gordon. She leaves behind her two daughters, Nicole Hobbs, Jacqueline (Devan) Hobbs, her 3 grandchildren, Bridgette, Bailey (Julie), Rebecca. Her brother Russ (Donna) Forman, and sister Brenda (Chick) Parisian and their families. She was predeceased by her husband Gordon Hobbs, parents Bill and Patricia Forman, brothers Bert and Bob.

Vivian was a devoted Christian, and we take comfort in knowing that she is with her Lord. She was an avid quilter and used her quilting to make new friends everywhere she went. They were fondly referred to as Grandma hugs by her two oldest grandkids when they were very little, and the term stuck and over the years hundreds have been blessed with one of these precious 'hugs". Vivian was a social butterfly who made friends everywhere she went. She always found the positive in every situation and had a smile that lit up every room.

A Funeral Service will be held at Hillcrest Church at 1550 Main St N Moose Jaw on October 12, 2024 @ 1pm. Reception to follow at W. J. Jones Funeral Home @ 2pm. 474 Hochelaga St W. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Jim Paterson Children's Foundation, #1 - 345 Third Avenue Â鶹ÊÓƵ Saskatoon, SK, S7K 1M6

The family asks that if you have ever been blessed with a 'Grandma Hug' (quilt) from Vivian to please send a photo of you with it or bring it with you to the funeral so we can fill the room with her hugs.

In living memory of Vivian, a memorial planting will be made by W.J. Jones & Son Ltd. Please sign the memorial register at website: (Obituaries). Dayna Chamberlain- Funeral Director
