It is with heavy hearts we say goodbye to Patricia Elliot on November 18, 2024. Pat was born on April 27, 1938.
Pat began her life adventure at 15 years old. She lived all over the prairie provinces before she hung her hat in Kamloops, BC. She always said her heart belonged to BC. She came back to Moose Jaw for family, where she changed careers and became a hair dresser. In 1980, Pat began Shear Sculpture/Studio 21. She loved her customers and new people she met along the way in the last 44 years. Pat loved her community too, she was on the board for the Transition House for a few years and she began Silverwood Estates, she believed in a community within a community.
When Pat semi-retired, she found her love of gardening. She hated winter, but when the first signs of spring came, you would always find her hanging around the greenhouse or in her yard. It became her sanctuary. The other great love she had was Christmas, she enjoyed the holidays and all the family and friends who spent it with her. You could say she was a Christmas junkie.
Pats greatest legacy lies in the love she showered upon her family and friends. With great sadness, we say goodbye to a mother, not only her children but her adopted daughters, grandmother and great grandmother.
Pat is predeceased by her mother Ethel; sister Bev; brother Doug and son Terry.
She is survived by her sons Larry and Kerry; daughter Sherry; grandchildren Ashton and Kelsey; great grandchildren Emma, Everrett, Kinsley and Lyla; and her close friends Nancy, Brenda, Starla, Amanda and Tris.
A Come and Go Celebration of Pat’s life will be held on Sunday December 1, 2024, from 1:00 – 4:00 pm at the Moose Jaw Eagles Club (561 Home St. W).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Moose Jaw Transition House, 63 Ross St. W, Moose Jaw, SK, S6H 2M0
