Kerrobert Composite School held their graduation ceremonies the afternoon of June 28, with 12 Grade 12 students receiving their high school diplomas. The ceremony was livestreamed on the Kerrobert Composite School Facebook page.
Aiden Krahn, son of Leighton and Tammy, delivered the valedictory address to his classmates and assembled family and community members.
Krahn, who plans to pursue a degree in computer science, received a number of scholarships. He was awarded the Living Sky School Division scholarship, as well as a Town of Kerrobert Scholarship, a Kerrobert Credit Union scholarship and the Eero (Eric) Sorilla Centennial Scholarship.
Tyson Borschneck also received several scholarships: a Edna and Elliot Crookshank Family Scholarship, a Town of Kerrobert Scholarship, a Kerrobert Credit Union Scholarship, the Inter Pipeline Discovery Award and a Kerrobert Legion Bursary. Borschneck, son of Joelene and Kevin, plans to become a power engineer.
Other Kerrobert graduates receiving scholarships and bursaries were Kate Snider – Town of Kerrobert Scholarship, Prairie Branches Bursary, Kerrobert Legion Bursary and a Laurilee Fischer Memorial Scholarship; Quinn St. Pierre – Kerrobert Credit Union Scholarship, Prairie Branches Bursary and a Kerrobert Legion Bursary; Brielle Neumeier – Edna and Elliot Crookshank Family Scholarship and a Kerrobert Legion Bursary; Abbigail Wilson – Town of Kerrobert Scholarship and a Prairie Branches Bursary; Tristyn Endicott – a Laurilee Fischer Memorial Scholarship; and Solveigh Frydenlund – Prairie Branches Bursary.
