Theft complaint at an oilfield site near Unity being investigated

Snowmobile rollover near Unity that resulted in driver being transported to Unity Health Centre is still under investigation, included in the weekly policing report for March 1-7

UNITY REPORT

RCMP are investigating a complaint of an indecent act.

A 53-year-old Unity female was charged with failure to comply with demand after she refused to provide a breath sample.

Police received a complaint of an individual loitering at a business. Members attended and spoke to the individual who was waiting for transportation.

RCMP are investigating a complaint of theft at an oilfield site near Unity.

Members acted as mediators in a dispute between two adults.

Police received a report of a two-vehicle collision on Highway 14 near Unity. The driver and passenger of one vehicle were transported to Unity Health Centre for non-life-threatening injuries. Reduced visibility was a factor in the collision.

Members attended a snowmobile rollover near Unity. The vehicle driver was transported to Unity Health Centre by Emergency Medical Services. This matter is still under investigation.

RCMP assisted Child and Family Services with a child welfare concern.

Police attended the scene of a broken-down vehicle to provide traffic control to prevent a collision during inclement weather conditions.

Members attended a single-vehicle collision on Highway 14 west of Unity. Icy roads and reduced visibility were factors in the crash.

RCMP received a report of a two-vehicle collision in Unity. There were no injuries. This matter is still under investigation.

There were also two false alarms and seven traffic complaints.

WILKIE REPORT

RCMP received a complaint of a stolen truck but it was unfounded.

Members assisted an individual in locating transportation.

Police received a complaint of an intoxicated individual in public. Members transported the individual to Battlefords cells to be lodged until sober.

Members conducted a well-being check at the request of a family member.

RCMP received a complaint of assault. Members attended but the complainant declined to proceed.

Members conducted another well-being check at the request of a family member.

Police attended a single-vehicle collision near Wilkie. There were no injuries.

RCMP received a complaint of an abandoned vehicle in a rural area near Wilkie. The vehicle was towed.

Members attended a residence fire. The fire was extinguished by Wilkie Fire Department and is still under investigation.

Police received a report of a single-vehicle collision north of Wilkie. There were no injuries. Icy roads and reduced visibility were factors.

There was also one false alarm.

MACKLIN REPORT

RCMP assisted an individual in locating a place to stay.

Members received a report of an individual damaging a vehicle. This matter is still under investigation.

Police received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members spoke to the subject of complaint.

RCMP received a complaint of several vehicles stuck on Highway 14 west of Macklin. Members attended but the vehicles were gone on arrival.

There was also one traffic complaint.
