RCMP received a number of calls as a result of Jan. 31 storm

Members received a request to show police presence at the Wilkie SaskCan Community Centre during a hockey game. There were no issues.

UNITY REPORT

RCMP received a complaint of harassing communications but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.

Police received a complaint of fraud. This matter is still under investigation.

Members received another complaint of fraud but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.

RCMP received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members spoke to the complainant and the subject of complaint.

Police received a report of a suspicious individual near a residence. Members patrolled but could not locate they subject of complaint.

Members received a request from another RCMP Detachment to complete a next of kin notification to an individual in the Detachment area.

RCMP received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members spoke to the subject of complaint.

Members received a request from Saskatchewan Environment and Resource Management to euthanize an injured deer near Denzil.

Police received a request to assist medical staff at Unity Health Centre with a patient.

Members patrolled a protest in Unity.

RCMP are investigating a complaint of uttering threats.

An individual turned in a cell phone that was located in the snow. Members returned the phone to the owner.

A 26-year-old male from Little Pine First Nation was charged with two counts of Fail to Comply with a Release Order after receiving a complaint of public intoxication.

Police received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members transported the subject of complaint to Battlefords Union Hospital for assessment.

RCMP received numerous reports of vehicles stuck on the highway or in the ditch due to poor road conditions and lack of visibility. Members contacted vehicle drivers to ensure there were no injuries. Members did not attend due to safety concerns. Travel advisories were issued through a media release.

There were also three false alarms and five traffic complaints.

WILKIE REPORT

RCMP received a report of a single vehicle collision near Wilkie. The vehicle driver sustained minor injuries. This matter is still under investigation.

MACKLIN REPORT

RCMP received a complaint of sexual interference. This matter is still under investigation.

Members are assisting another RCMP Detachment with a firearm investigation.

Members did not attend due to safety concerns. Travel advisories were issued through a media release.

There was also one false 911 call and one traffic complaint.
