Police seek public's help following armed robbery

SASKATOON - Saskatoon police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred Monday morning. 

Shortly before 10:30 a.m., Feb. 3, police responded to a robbery in progress at a restaurant in the 900 block of 22nd Street West.

Two men reportedly armed with a knife robbed another man of cash and fled westbound on 22nd Street.

They were last seen travelling north on Avenue K N, on foot. A male matching one of the suspect descriptions was located a short while later in the 800 block of 20th Street West.

He was found to be in possession of a knife, a handheld shovel, and methamphetamine.

The 28-year-old victim was not physically injured. 

The 37-year-old is charged with carrying concealed weapon (x2), armed robbery, possession of a dangerous weapon, possession of methamphetamine, mischief, and breach of court-imposed conditions.
