Police match suspect's footwear to footprints at site of break and enter

At approximately 10:20 p.m., Dec. 25, police were notified that the break and enter was in-progress at a business in the 1900 block of Quebec Ave.

SASKATOON - A 36-year-old man is facing charges following a break and enter to an industrial compound in Saskatoon.

At approximately 10:20 p.m., Dec. 25, police were notified that the break and enter was in-progress at a business in the 1900 block of Quebec Ave.

The complainant had been alerted by the security system at the property.

Whey they arrived, officers were able to locate a male suspect nearby as he was attempting to flee the scene. He matched the description provided by the complainant.

Further, the officers were able to match the suspect's footwear to footprints inside the compound.  

The accused is now facing charges of break and enter with intent, and breach of probation.
