Update: Two people now facing charges in Saskatoon homicide

A 16-year-old youth was arrested and charged with first-degree murder; he will make his first court appearance Dec. 5.

SASKATOON - Second update, Dec. 4, 1:41 p.m.: Police are advising an additional person has been arrested related to a homicide that occurred last month in Saskatoon.

The Saskatoon Police Service has arrested and charged a second person in connection to the homicide of 20-year-old Jordanna Kocher.

On Dec. 4, a 16-year-old youth was arrested and charged with first-degree murder. He will make his first court appearance Dec. 5.

Investigators are renewing a request for public assistance relating to any vehicle dash-cam video from Nov. 15. This pertains to vehicles travelling westbound in the 1300 Block of 8th Street East from 6:15 p.m. to 6:45 p.m.

Update, Nov. 18, 2:01 p.m.: The Saskatoon Police have charged a 36-year-old woman with first-degree murder in relation to the city's 13th homicide that occurred on Nov. 15. 

Police are continuing to investigate and are asking the public for any available dash-cam footage from vehicles travelling westbound in the 1300 block of 8th Street East between 6:15 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. on that date.

A 20-year-old woman was found deceased at the scene. 

The Major Crime Section is continuing to gather evidence; no further details will be released at this time.
