SASKATOON - A man is facing charges after another man was allegedly assaulted outside a bar earlier this morning.
At approximately 1:45 a.m., Feb. 26, patrol officers responded to a parking lot in the 1300 block of 8th Street East after a man reported being injured by a man wielding a pry bar. Upon police arrival, officers located a man matching the suspect description and seized the weapon from the scene. The man was also found to be in possession of fentanyl and methamphetamine.
The 27-year-old victim's injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.
A 41-year-old man is charged with aggravated assault, and possession of methamphetamine and fentanyl.
