SASKATOON - A man was arrested after being found in possession of a modified firearm earlier this week in Saskatoon.
At around 9:45 p.m. on Feb. 11, police were called to a business in the 800 block of Circle Drive East for a report of multiple persons loitering in the bathroom.
Upon police arrival, all but one of the people had left the business.
Officers entered the bathroom and located a man believed to be under the influence of an intoxicant who was wanted on outstanding warrants; he was arrested without incident. After searching him, officers located a modified firearm.
In addition to the execution of his outstanding warrants, the 29-year-old man was further charged with five firearms-related offences.
