21-year-old arrested after early morning stabbing in Saskatoon

One person was transported to a hospital with serious injuries after a stabbing incident on Friday.

SASKATOON — A 21-year-old Saskatoon man is in custody following a stabbing which occurred early morning on Jan. 17 in Saskatoon.

At approximately 4 a.m. Saskatoon police were called to an apartment in the 1700 block of 22nd Street West.  It was reported that a man was injured. Upon arrival, officers located a 28-year-old man suffering from what appeared to be several stab wounds. The man was transported to hospital with serious injuries. 

A suspect was soon located in the 200 block of Avenue R Â鶹ÊÓƵ and arrested. 

The 21-year-old is now facing a charge of aggravated assault.
