Teen charged following bear spray incident in Prince Albert

Upon further investigation, police noticed one of the individuals was found to be in possession of bear spray.

PRINCE ALBERT - The Prince Albert Police Service arrested and charged one male youth on Saturday following a call for service involving bear spray.

On Dec. 14, 2024, at approximately 5 p.m. police were called to the 1400 block of Central Avenue for a report of a group of youth who were brandishing bear spray.

Arriving officers observed a group matching the description of the suspects attempting to flee northbound on foot; however, all three were arrested without incident shortly after.

Upon further investigation, police noticed one of the individuals was found to be in possession of bear spray.

As a result, a 15-year-old male youth has been charged with carrying and concealing a weapon.
