PRINCE ALBERT - The Prince Albert Police Service arrested one man who was found to be in possession of methamphetamine while responding to a weapons call.
On April 17 at approximately 10:50 a.m. police were called to the area of 9th Avenue West and 15th Street West for a weapons call stating a male pulled out a firearm and pointed it at a female.
Officers arrived on scene shortly after and located a male matching the description of the suspect.
The suspect was arrested without further incident and upon further investigation, the man was found to be in possession of an imitation firearm.
Upon arrival at police cells, the man was also also found to be in possession of methamphetamine.
Police continued to search the area for the female victim but were not able to locate her.
As a result, a 41-year-old man has been charged with possession of methamphetamine and failure to comply with an undertaking.
