On June 13, 2010, Ed and I were invited to Watson for a barbecue for family and friends. While there, they had an entertainer by the name of Hubert the Entertainer.He has entertained in Watson, Melfort, and Nipawin for seniors. For those places he only goes by donation.A man in his early 40s, he is originally from Germany, and moved to Edmonton for some years. He wanted a more quiet life with his wife and daughter, so they moved to Wadena.The music he plays is phenomenal and entrances children if they are present.He said he has contacted Humboldt, but never got any response. We have missed this one.Hubert plays anything from polkas to waltzes, and everything from birthdays, weddings, and parties. Seems Humboldt can't have a change, it always has to be the same old thing.Soon as he sells his house, he is off to Alberta where he plays Calgary, Edmonton, Lethbridge, Medicine Hat and many other places. So it's easier for him to go.Hubert we wish you well and sorry we didn't accept you.Bon voyage.He has his own sound system and with him you don't need three other bands.
