Dear Editor
Do you know there is a proposal from other provinces and governments to contaminate Saskatchewan's north with radioactive waste that is to be trucked through Saskatchewan.?
This must be stopped.
Manitoba on such radioactive waste and nuclear products entering their province. We do not need any contamination by radioactive waste in our north.
The people of Saskatchewan spoke during consultations regarding the Bruce Power proposal to build a nuclear reactor on the North Saskatchewan River. Now we must stand again against this proposal. If we don't Saskatchewan could become the nuclear dumping ground for any country in the world. Do you want this to happen?
What if there is an accident. As you know accidents happen on the highways all the time. These trucks will be crossing many waterways and through many towns on their journey to our beautiful north.
Contact your government representatives today to tell them you do no want this waste brought into Saskatchewan. Those who produce nuclear waste must keep it. We don't want it.
