VARGO - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Vargo, late of Glaslyn, SK on October 2, 2012 at the age of 82 years. John was born on January 15, 1930 at Saskatoon, SK. John leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife Rose ; children: Susan (Ron): Lisa and her daughter Jasmine, Harley (Amanda) and their sons Calvin and Cain, Samantha and her children Ryan, Tyler, Matthew, and Brock, Allison (John) and their children Jade and Michael; John : Kelly and his daughter Brook Lynn, and Brandi; Debra (Neil): Danielle (Dave) and their son Aram, Morgan; sister Anne Elizabeth; step children: Terry and Kim Clackson, Toni and Laurie Clackson, Bobbie and Ernie Walker, Gaye Clackson, Colin and Lorraine Clackson, Susan and Greg Hippie, and all of their families; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Joseph and Maria; sister Mary; and brother Joe. Service of Remembrance was held on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 from the Glaslyn Community Hall, with Mr. John Klassen officiating. A private family interment took place at the Glaslyn Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations in John's memory may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
