A quote from Henry Riplinger, a Saskatchewan author, reflected on remembering Stacey: "When people come to the end of their lives they will be judged by who they were and how well they have lived. People won't be remembered and revered for their material success, but by the amount of love they have given to others. Acts and words that touched the hearts are never forgotten." Stacey was diverse. She was experienced in the oil business, having worked herself into the position of Dispatch for several companies. She was a graduate of Notre Dame College and enjoyed athletic activities. She loved animals and was very skilled in Veterinary practices.
