STEIERT - Mr. Michael Steiert late of North Battleford passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at the age of 66 years. Michael was born on July 11, 1946 in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Monday, December 24, 2012 @ 11:00 a.m. from Notre Dame de Lourdes Roman Catholic Church with Reverend Father Gerard Legaspi officiating. Vigil of Prayer was held on Sunday, December 23, 2012 @ 7:30 p.m. also from Notre Dame de Lourdes Roman Catholic Church with Brother Louis Andreas presiding. Cremation followed the Mass with Interment of cremated remains to take place at a later date. Left to cherish Michael's memory are his loving wife Patricia (Patt) Steiert; children Lana (Randy) Abrahamson, Jason (Nicole) Steiert, and Malynne Steiert; grandchildren Joshua , Ryan, Zachariah and Kathleen Abrahamson, and Jackson Steiert; his father AC (Tony) Steiert; brothers Dan (Audrey), Tom (Joanne) and Gerry (Beth); sisters Maureen (Bill) Preston and Patricia (Glenn) Woodford; numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews Michael was predeceased by his mother Kathleen Steiert; mother-in-law Olga Kramm and father-in-law Ed Kramm. Memorial Donations in memory of the late Mr. Michael Steiert may be directed to Battlefords Boys and Girls club 1602 - 103rd St North Battleford, S9A-1L7 or to Mowvember, C/O Funeral Arrangements for the late Mr. Michael Steiert were entrusted to Trevor Watts of Eternal Memories Funeral Service & Crematorium.
