SPRATT : With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Annie Louise Spratt on Sept. 4, 2013. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother; family was the most important thing in her world and she will be missed by all of us. She loved to sing and sang with the Sweet Adelines and the St. George's Anglican Church Choir. Her passions were Bingo & Scrabble and she was an avid reader. She was quick to start a conversation with friends and strangers alike and in her own words she loved to yak. Her family home held love and laughter and was always a place of refuge. Born in Saskatoon but raised in Prince Albert where she worked as an operator for Sask-Tel then transferred to North Battleford where she met and fell in love with Peter, her husband of 63 years. Louise also worked as a nurses aide at the Battlefords District Care Centre for over 16 years and cared greatly for the staff and the residents, who loved it when she did the splits for them.
