SANSREGRET - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marie-Anne Victoria Sansregret, late of North Battleford, on March 24, 2013 at the age of 96 years. Marie-Anne was born on June 2, 1916 at Jackfish, Saskatchewan. Marie-Anne leaves behind to cherish her memory her children and their families: Paulette Lean of Ladysmith, BC and her daughter Cheryl; Judi Brock of Nanaimo, BC and her sons Warren (Lindsay): Amelia and Tessa, and Layne (Rass); Ed (Joan) Sansregret of Meota, SK: Marla (Ed) and their children Kaylee and Joel, Leaha (Cam) - Chantel and Bree; Rene (Brenda) Sansregret of Meota, SK: Lana (Sheldon) - Jarett and Carly, Adam, Lynne, Derek, Deanna (Todd) - Blake and Devan; Louis's wife Maureen and their children Monty, Rachel, and Guy; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband Andrew; son Louis; grandsons Lee and Ryan; son in law Terry Lean; brothers: Joseph, Paddy, Alec, Arthur, Isadore, Eddy, Ernest, and William; sisters Josephine, Agnes, and Delima. The Funeral Mass was held on Thursday, March 28, 2013 from Notre Dame de Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, North Battleford, with Reverend Father Gerard Legaspi as Celebrant. Urn Bearers were Rene Sansregret and Ed Sansregret. Interment will take place at a later date in the Jackfish Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations in Marie-Anne's memory may be made to Villa Pascal (1301-113th Street, North Battleford, SK S9A 3K1).
