She was predeceased by her parents Fritz and Mary Hansen, her sisters Alma and Ann, her brother Ken and her husband of 60 years George who passed away April 14 2008. They were married April 15, 1948. She is survived by her brother Don (Jenny), sister-in-law Dorothy, numerous nieces and nephews and her children Gerald (Donna), Audrey (Bruce), Ken (Debbie), Allen (Lennea), Donna (Jason), her grandchildren Sheri-Lynn, Angie, Trevor, Kevin, Amanda, Travis, and Tyler, great-grandchildren Dante, Logan, Emma, Ava, Kaiden and Kalvin and her beloved cat Ginger. Marguerite loved her family and kept them well fed growing a large garden and milking cows. She loved the outdoors and helped with all the field work and putting up hay. As a teen she and her sister Ann worked on the threshing crews. Horses were her passion and broke many to ride and drive. She looked forward to the yearly wagon treks getting the team in shape, she did this for 15 years. She still rode in the Battleford parade at 81 and was proud of the ribbons she won, she also volunteered at the museum with the threshing crews. Interment and memorial to be held at a later date.
