SADLOWSKI, JULIAN J.; husband, father, grandfather, teacher, artist, writer, historian and dedicated community servant passed away peacefully on Friday, April 27, 2012, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 76 years old. Julian was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Olga Sadlowski; parents-in-law, Paul and Nellie Katchmarskey and brother-in-law, Nap Kachmarski. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Rita ; loving children and grandchildren: Jo Ann and Don McNie and children, Spencer, Allyson and Tory; Terry Sadlowski and children: Ashley and Colby and Shawn Sadlowski. Rita's family: sister-in-law, Shirley Kachmarski, children: Mark (Sonia); Sandi (Mike Boyd) and children; Cynthia (Mark Raby) and children and Myles (Laura) and children; brother-in-law, Allen (Aud) Kachmarski, son Kirby and daughter; son Jason and daughter and numerous cousins. Card of Thanks The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at Saskatoon Cancer Centre, WPD Ambulance, BUH Emergency Department, Dr. A. Van Der Merwe and BUH Palliative Care Unit. Your care, support and kind professionalism means the world to us. We would also like to express our gratitude to family and friends for their gifts of company, food, flowers, cards, calls, emails, masses and donations in Julian's name; to friends and relatives who read at the Vigil and Mass; to Lisa Hornung and CWL choir for their gift of music; to eulogist Jim Toye for his wonderful words; to Fr. Gerard Legaspi for his kindness and sympathy; to Notre Dame CWL for Thursday's coffee and Friday's lunch; to Notre Dame School for the use of their facilities; to Sakewew High School staff for their gift of baking for the lunch; to John Vany and the Knights of Columbus #2094; to the Superannuated Teachers of the Battlefords; and to Bob MacKay and Battlefords Funeral Service staff for easing our difficult time.
