Service of Celebration and Thanksgiving for the Life of Thomas William Rayner was held Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. from Battleford United Church, Battleford, SK with Rev. Nora Borgeson officiating. Memories were gathered by his grandchildren and read by grandson, Regan. Music Ministry was Organist Mrs. M. Junice Headley; Battleford United Church Choir; Musicians, Don Mitchell and Neil Smith; Soloists, Rev. Nora Borgeson, "Amazing Grace" , Robert MacKay, "Beyond The Sunset" and Hymn Selection "In The Garden". The Honourary Pallbearers were Willie & Doris Neale ~ Leslie Laycock "and all others who shared in Tom's life". The Pallbearers were Grandchildren ~ Regan Rayner, Jennifer Vany, Tanya Reed, Andrea Burden, Paul Young and Lindsay Prokop. Memorials are requested to Battlefords Union Hospital Foundation Inc, Box 1358, North Battleford, SK S9A 3L7 and Heart and Stroke Foundation, 279 - 3rd Ave N, Saskatoon, SK S7K 2H8. Interment took place at Willowmore Cemetery.
