PARKINSON : In Loving Memory of '"Tony" Anthony Ralph Parkinson who was born Sept. 18, 1960 at North Battleford, SK and passed away Sept. 28, 2013 at North Battleford, SK. Left to cherish Tony's special memory is his loving family: his parents, Jim & Sophia Parkinson; his brothers, sisters-in-law, sister, nieces and nephews: Gordon (Glenda): Carla (Brent) - Elly & Lilah; Stewart (Amy) - Benton; Janet: Jason (Helen) - Terry; Brian (Margaret): Lars (Chelsey) - Sophia, Hudson, Walker; Jake (Lyndsay); Annie (Dominic); Jim (Carol): Paul (Andrea); Daniel (Jennifer) - Madelyn, Merick, Malina; Judy (friend, Christian) - Nick, Kyle, Megan; Roger (Laurena): Kara; Ray (Jackie) - Amelia, Olivia; Kayla - Bentley, Lilly; uncles, aunties, numerous cousins and friends. Tony was predeceased by his grandparents: Ralph and Netta Parkinson, Lars & Emma Leite; niece: Katrina "Katie" Parkinson. Interment took place Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. from Willomoore Cemetery and Service of Celebration and Thanksgiving for Tony's Life was held at Royal Canadian Legion Br 7 Hall, Battleford, SK at 2:00 p.m. with Mrs. Joyce Salie officiating. Bob MacKay sang "In The Garden" and Jake, Annie and Stewart sang the Benediction. Donations in Tony's Memory may be forwarded to BTEC (Battlefords Trade and Education Centre) 702 - 102nd St, North Battleford, SK S9A 1E3 or Special Olympics, 2236 Douglas Ave, North Battleford, SK S9A 3M3. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Battlefords Funeral Service. 306-446-4200. Card of Thanks The family want to thank everyone who came to celebrate Tony's Life and those who could not be there but have Tony in your heart. Thank you to the staff at Boston Pizza for your friendship to Tony as he worked with you. Special thanks to the staff and friends at Battlefords Residential Services for being there for Tony for many years. Heartfelt thanks to the staff at WPD Ambulance for going the extra mile to care for Tony, your care and compassion was greatly appreciated. Also special thanks to the staff at BUH Palliative Care Unit for taking compassionate care of Tony and his family. Thanks to the staff in Emergency at BUH for your love and attention to Tony's needs. Thank you to Bob MacKay for your sensitive care to Tony's family, for singing at the Service and thank you Joyce Salie for the Service.
