Left to cherish his memory are his family; sons David (Cheryl) Panton and their children Kelly (Kyle) Fluney, and Jessica Panton; Douglas (Jill) Panton and his daughter Kathryn; daughter Jacqueline (John) Bajak and their daughter Sarah; and one sister Emily Dodsworth. John was predeceased by his loving wife Leona and two brothers Wes and Lyle . Funeral Service was held on Friday, February 1, 2013 at 2:00 p.m.at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 70, North Battleford, Saskatchewan. Officiating was Mrs. Joyce Sali, Veteran's Honours: Royal Canadian Legion Br. # 70, Comrade Frank Simpson.
