PALMER: Mr. Stanley Palmer of rural North Battleford passed away at Battlefords River Heights Lodge, Tuesday, November 20, 2012. Stan was born on January 4, 1921 - the second son to Ernest and Eliza Palmer. Stan was predeceased by one brother, Wallace in 1919, his mother, Eliza in 1965 and father, Ernest in 1977. Over the years while farming, Stan enjoyed a two acre orchard and sold honey from his 15-20 hives of bees. Stan kept precise weather records for the last 65 years. Through the years Stan worked and visited with many of his neighbors. By personal request, there will not be a funeral service. Interment of cremated remains will take place at a later date. Donations in Stan's memory can be made to Battlefords River Heights Lodge, 2001 - 99th St, North Battleford, SK S9A 0S3.
