PAIN: In Loving Memory of Harold Knapton Pain who was born February 1, 1912 on the farm at Vonda, SK and passed away February 1, 2013 at River Heights Lodge, North Battleford, SK. Harold is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Mary ; his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Tom & Connie and family: Steve (Beth) - Paige, Spencer & Grace; Dan (Candy) - Addison; Melanie (Kyle) - Zoey; Harvey & Bev and family: Adam (Carla) - Mason & Lindsey; Lance; Dianne & Pat Becotte and family: Stacey (Blake) - Jordyn; Brennan (Kristin) - Sophie, Peyton, Lane; nieces: Barb (Darrell) Foster and Kathleen (Brian) Saunderson and their families; nephew, Cram (Tracey) and family; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law: Peter (Laura) Prescesky, Nellie Welford, Henry (Irene) Prescesky, William (Betty) Prescesky and their families. Harold was predeceased by his parents: Thomas and Marian Pain; brothers: Art (Jackie) Pain and Thomas 'Gerry' (Margaret) Pain. A "Celebration Of Life" was held Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. from the Knights of Columbus Centre, North Battleford, SK with Officiants: M.C. - Brennan Becotte and Rev. Fred J. Tinio. Tributes presented by Shared Memories, Video Presentation and Selected Music. Soloist: Melanie (Pain) Leonard: "Grandpa" - The Judds. The Honourary Pallbearers were "All The Grandchildren and Others Who Shared His Life". Memorials are requested to River Heights Lodge Auxiliary, 2001-99th Street, North Battleford, SK S9A 0S3 or to the Donors Choice. Interment took place at Garden Of Devotion ~ Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, North Battleford, SK. Urn Bearer was Steve Pain. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Battlefords Funeral Service. 446-4200
