MORTIMER; Beverly Jeanne Mortimer; 1948 - 2012, It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Beverly Jeanne Mortimer of Blaine Lake. Born in North Battleford, SK September 23, 1948. Deceased in Saskatoon May 14, 2012 after a courageous and valiant fight against cancer. Bev is survived by her children, Sharmon Richards (Melvin), Rebecca Peterson, and Dale Richards; grandchildren, Sandra, Anna (Matt), Myles (Amber), Zackery, Ethan, and Mason; great-grandchildren, Nathan, Owen, Emery and Jeffery. Bev is also survived by her sisters, Deborah Spence (Ken), Patti Mortimer (Remy), brother-in-law Frank Bailey, aunts, uncles, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, Ila Jeanne (Letnes) and Harry Mortimer; step-mother Dorothy Mortimer, husbands Herbert James Krepps and Dave Burns; also by her brother Brock Cameron Mortimer, grandson Melvin Charles Dunkley III, and step-sister Dorothy Bailey. A Come and Go memorial social will be held on Saturday, May 26 at the Blaine Lake Memorial Hall, Main Street, Blaine Lake, SK from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be gratefully made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
