McGUIRE: In Loving Memory of Anastasia (Nettie) McGuire (nee: Serheniuk) - Born October 10, 1920 and passed away peacefully on June 28, 2013 surrounded by family and caregivers at the Battlefords District Care Centre, Battleford, SK. Predeceased by her husband Michael McGuire. Left to cherish Nettie's memory are her children: Michael (Amelia), Surrey, BC; Albert (Josie), Regina, SK; Larry (Mary), Kingston, ON; Don (Evelyn), North Battleford, SK; Gene ( Patricia), North Battleford, SK; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The Funeral Service was held Friday, July 5, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at "The Garden Chapel" ~ Battlefords Funeral Service with Father Greg Elder officiating. Interment followed at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in the Veteran's Section, where she was laid to rest beside her husband. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to "Al McGuire Memorial Fund", 2303 McLurg Crescent, Regina, SK S4V 2N5 (or E-transfer to [email protected] ) or a charity of the donor's choice.
