MARTINIUK: In Loving Memory of Ramona Ann Martiniuk who was born November 18, 1939 "On the family farm", Whitkow, SK and passed away April 14, 2013 at North Battleford, SK. Left to cherish Ramona's memory is her sister-in-law, Sophie Choma of North Battleford, SK; brother-in-law, Dick Bohun of Hafford, SK; her nieces, nephews and great-nephews: Donna (Peter) Metanchuk and Myron, Borden, SK; Ivania Choma, Spiritwood, SK; Stephanie Choma, Regina, SK; Andrea (Dan) Closs, Regina, SK; Greg (Joanne) Choma and Jonathan, Calgary, AB; and Robert (Sherri) Choma, Zachary and Hudson, Calgary, AB. Ramona was predeceased by her husband Morris (1974); her parents, Paul (1992) and Mary (1991) Choma; her sister, Zinnia Bohun (1998); her brother, John (2003); and her in-laws, Philip and Nastia Martiniuk. Panakhyda - Prayer Service was held Sunday, April 21, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. and Mass of Christian Remembrance was held Monday, April 22, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. both Services from Ukrainian Catholic Church Of All Saints, North Battleford, SK with Rev. Fr. Vladimir Simunovic, Celebrant. The Cross Bearer was Myron Metanchuk and Urn Bearer - Donna Metanchuk; Flowers - Robert Choma. The Epistle Reading was shared by Andrea Closs. Gifts of music by Mrs. Ann Prystupa - Cantor and Director and All Saints Church Choir. An Honour Guard was present of Ukrainian Catholic Womens League. The Honourary Pallbearers were "All who shared in Ramona's life". Memorials are requested to Battlefords Union Hospital Foundation Inc. or to a Charity of the donor's choice. Interment followed at City Cemetery, North Battleford, SK. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Battlefords Funeral Service. 446-4200. Card of Thanks Thank you to Dr. Selhi, the chemo nurses and the volunteers at Battlefords Union Hospital, and especially to the nurses in Palliative Care. Thank you to Dr. Abbas and the nurses at RUH cancer clinic for their loving care. Thank you to Rev. Father Sinumovic, the cantor, the choir, the UCWL Honour Guard and the lunch committee for their help with the service. We appreciate all the friends at Ruth Whyte Manor who were there to support Ramona. Special thanks to Bob and staff for your compassion and assistance.
