MARKEWICH: In Loving Memory of Tammy Markewich, who was born on Aug.29/1969 in North Battleford, Sk and passed away Aug 12/2013 Tammy is survived by her loving husband Darryl, loving children Scott & Jenny; Uncle Renie; Her Mother Bernice Hobbs: brother Mike(Sylvia) Hobbs & family: Sisters: Lynn( Rob Hind)Hobbs, Penny Hobbs, and their families; Mother -In -Law Kay Markewich & many Friends. Predeceased by her cherished father Jerry Hobbs: Uncle Tracey Hobbs; Aunt Connie Stewart & Father-In-Law Tony Markewich. Tammy grew up on the Hobbs family farm at Glaslyn, in the Midnight Lake district. She graduated from Glaslyn Central High & went on to the U of S enrolled in Agriculture. A few years later, while living in North Battleford and working at Stacey Ford, she met and married the love of her life Darryl Markewich & they eventually moved to his family farm in the Hafford District, where they raised their children and continue to reside until her passing. Tammy enjoyed gardening, her flowers, her job as secretary of the Thickwood Hills Feeder Coop, and most of all, proudly watching their children Scott & Jenny in sports & Ukrainian Dancing. She loved spending time with family & friends & particularly loved being at Sandy Lake. A small bit of advice Tammy left us with " May god bless you forever. Look after each other & show love every day. Don't worry about me, there are so many people we love waiting for me in heaven. I will miss you but I will not be alone". Tammy quietly passed away in the early morning hours of Monday August 12/2013 at the Battleford's Union Hospital with family by her side. The Celebration of Life was held Thursday Aug 15/2013 from the Hafford Communiplex with Father Ramel Macapala as Celebrant. Interment at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to The Battleford's Funeral Service. Card of Thanks We the Family of Tammy Markewich would like to express our heartfelt Thank-You to all our friends and relatives for your love and support shown through visits, phone calls, cards, flowers, food & memorial donations. Special thanks to the home care staff, Dr. Hesselson & the palliative Care Nurses at BUH for all your support and guidance. A huge Thank You to Father Macapala for the lovely service, Bob Mackay for the music ministry, Marie for the eulogy, Barb & Tammy for the readings, Pam, Marie & Andy for the Shared Memories, The Honorary Pallbearers, The Active Pallbearers.
