LLOYD: Ronald Ira Lloyd passes away peacefully in the Battleford's Union Hospital, North Battleford, Saskatchewan on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at the age of 74 years.

LLOYD: Ronald Ira Lloyd passes away peacefully in the Battleford's Union Hospital, North Battleford, Saskatchewan on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at the age of 74 years. Ronald will be sadly missed by his wife Helen; his daughter Sherri and Darin Manegre and their children: Paige and Connor; sister Helen and Robert Broughton; two brothers-in-law: Mel and Wilda Bronken and their son Troy and his wife Danielle Bronken, Bert and Karen Bronken and their two sons: Stuart and his wife Shiloh Bronken and their four sons, Steven and his wife Lisa Bronken and their two daughters as well as numerous other relatives. The memorial service was conducted from the Maidstone United Church, Maidstone, Saskatchewan on Friday October 21, 2011 at 2:30 P.M. with Reverend Ean Kasper officiating. The Eulogy was read by Bill Afseth, Dale Brook and Bill Thon. The hymns sung were "Just A Closer Walk With Thee" and "In The Sweet By & By" accompanied on the organ by June Franks. Honorary pallbearers were Ralph Gerbig, Dwayne Wiltermuth, Willie Franks, Kelly Shreenan, Keith Milner, Rodney Marfleet and All Those That Have Shared In His Life. The interment was held in the Maidstone Cemetery. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements. CARD OF THANKS Thank you to all who attended Rons service. Ean Kasper for visits and caring words at the service. Bill Afseth for the eulogy reminesin on Ron and your teaching years at Maidstone High. Bill Thon and Dale Brook for your touching words. June for your music, Ralph, Dwayne, Keith, Willie, Kelly, Rodney, Troy Stuart, and Scott for being there. The Legion Ladies for a lovely lunch. For flowers, gifts, phone calls, cards, food and visits. A big thank you to friends who visited Ron at home and the cabin. That made Rons day when he was unable to get out much. A Thank you to our friends and neighbours who cared for our yard in Maidstone after we moved. To McCaws for a very professional job.
