LINDSAY,

LINDSAY, Yvette : It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother YVETTE LINDSAY (nee Prince) on December 25, 2012. Yvette was born in Delmas, SK to Palma and Richard Prince. She completed two years of post secondary schooling in Trois Rivières, Quebec. In 1951 she married Murray Lindsay and moved to Paynton where Murray was a farmer and the RM Secretary. They were blessed with three children. After 11 short years of marriage, Murray died. The family moved to North Battleford, where she raised her children with the help of her mother. Yvette bought a cabin on Days Beach on Jackfish Lake in 1965. This became her treasured location, where she enjoyed quiet reading on the swing, enjoying the view, catching up on the local news and being with her family. Yvette loved music and dancing and met many long time friends attending dances at the Legion and Minus One. She also enjoyed her many winters living in Mesa, Arizona. In 1994, Yvette moved to Saskatoon to be closer to Murray and his growing family and to Vernon, BC in 2011. Yvette leaves behind her 3 children, Sylvia of Armstrong, BC; Delbert of Regina, SK; and Murray of Lethbridge, AB) and 7 grandchildren: Lauren, Maureen, Mark, Gabrielle, Rachel, Rebecca and Sarah as well as two great grandchildren, Jemma and Walker. A funeral service was held on December 28, 2012 in Armstrong, BC. Internment will follow at a later date in Delmas, SK. ____________________________________________________
