LERCH: RANDY LERCH, May 12, 1954 ~ March 10, 2013. It is with great sadness that the family announces Randy's passing on Sunday, March 10, 2013 at the age of 58. Randy was born in Borden, SK on May 12, 1954. He grew up on the family farm in Radisson and attended both Radisson elementary and Radisson high school. As a teenager, Randy enjoyed many high school and community sports such as hockey, baseball, as well as slow pitch which became one of his favourites over the years. Randy loved to travel and spent numerous vacations in warm climates. He especially enjoyed spending time at the lake with family & friends waterskiing, tubing, and boating. In later years, fishing with his friends became his enjoyable pastime. Randy had many interests such as hunting, snowmobiling and skiing. He enjoyed the outdoors and especially liked to build and manufacture things in the garage. He shared a lot of his time with his dogs as he nurtured and cared for them over the years. After high school, Randy left the farm to establish a trucking company, Waseca Sand & Gravel, where he spent many enjoyable years with his business partner Rick. After a difficult decision to change his career path, he came back to Radisson and worked alongside family in a sign business called Billy Walk. It was also at this time he started back farming on the family farm and continued to do so until his passing. Randy is predeceased by his father, Emil; brother, Devin; and grandparents, Theodore and Bertha Lerch and Ed and Maria Brunsch. He is survived by his mother, Doris; brothers, Wayne (Theresa), Linden (Debra); sisters, Shelly (Gary), Stacie (Dan) and nieces and nephews, Justin (Courtney), Heather (Dustin), Adam, Kale, Blair, Russel, and Jason. He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by many extended family and friends. A graveside memorial service for family and friends will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Memorial Fund - Zion Lutheran Cemetery Enhancement c/o St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Radisson, SK.
