LEIBEL - It is with heartfelt sorrow that the family of Linda Leibel announces the passing of their mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. After a courageous struggle with cancer, her time with us expired Thursday, November 28th. A visitation for Linda, late of Battleford, SK, took place at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, December 4th at the chapel of Sallows & McDonald - Wilson & Zehner Funeral Home followed by a funeral mass at St. Vital Catholic Church at 1:00 pm on Thursday, December 5th. Linda was laid to rest in the Town of Battleford Cemetery. Linda will be lovingly remembered by her siblings Flora Kennedy, Kay Tessaro, Anne Vollman, Jack (Cathy) Materi, Frank Materi, Tony (Cheryl) Materi, and Ted Materi; her children Patsy (Ron) Quinn, Willy (Lillian) Leibel, Ivy Currie, and Donna (Kelly) Burnham; her grandchildren Serena Quinn, Vinessa Currie-Foster, Jessica Currie, Alexandra Burnham, Mitchell Burnham and Sarah Leibel; great grandchildren Ben and Jack Foster; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Linda is predeceased by her parents Anton and Anastasia Materi; her loving husband Philip Leibel; her siblings Walter Materi, Joe Materi, Pauline Materi, Clara Hjalmarson, and Max Materi. Linda's wishes were for those interested to make donations in her name to St. Vital Catholic Church's CWL.
