LASHFORD: Edith Lashford passed away peacefully at Battleford Union Hospital on June 9, 2013 at the age of 91. Edith is lovingly remembered by her daughter and son-in-law Norma and Ed Mundy of Sparwood, BC; grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Christine (Jake) & family; Kyle (Fiancé, Nicole), and Cassie; Gabriel & Ethan; Michael (Michele) Mundy & their sons; Matthew & Aidan; Brian Mundy; sister-in-law, Gwen Laughlin; nieces, nephews and their families. Edith is predeceased by her parents; Charles and Gertrude Laughlin; husbands Norman Ebach and Frank Lashford; siblings: Fred, Ray, Mabel, George, Willie, Thelma and Jack. Edith was born on August 1, 1921 in Dalmeny, SK and she went on to live a full life devoted to family. Among her many accomplishments were Armed Forces Services, teaching school, and proud wife. Mother and Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and Great-Great-Grandmother to her devoted family. She was an accomplished story teller and amazing confidant. To know Edith was to become her friend and she blessed those around her with nurturing kindness and a warm heart. The family would like to thank all those who visited, called and supported us during this difficult time.
