KOWALCHUK: JESSE WILLIAM February 10th, 1977 - November 4th, 2011 Jesse, age 34, died accidentally near Hafford, SK on November 4th, 2011. Jesse was born in Edmonton, AB on February 10th, 1977. He graduated from Hafford High School in 1995 and spent most of his adult life working in the oil field. When he wasn't working he enjoyed helping on the farm or at his parent's water business. He excelled in many sports and enjoyed camping, fishing, golfing and visiting friends. He was extremely proud of his nieces and nephew and especially his godchild Brooke. He is survived by and will be greatly missed by his parents, Ron and Bev Kowalchuk of Hafford, SK; his brother and sister-in-law, Bruce and Denise; nephew, Braden and nieces, Ashley and Brooke Kowalchuk all of Hafford, SK. He also leaves to morn many uncles, aunts, cousins and his special godmothers, Elsie Lerner and Marie Kowalchuk. Jesse was predeceased by his grandparents, William and Anna Kowalchuk and Willard and Beatrice McLean; his uncles and aunts, Joe, Wally, Janett and Ed Kowalchuk, Roy Adams, Edward, Kenny, Buddy, and Walter McLean, Judy Beler, Art and Heather Haron and his cousin Cheryl Kowalchuk. Prayers will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 9th and the Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 10th. Both services held at the Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Holy Eucharist, Hafford, SK. with Rev. Father Walter Kostiuk as the celebrant. Cremation to follow the Liturgy. Interment at the Hafford Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
