KOPP, Raymond: It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Raymond on November 7, 2013 at the Battlefords Union Hospital at the age of 76 years. Raymond was born in Macklin, SK on June 17, 1937.

KOPP, Raymond: It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Raymond on November 7, 2013 at the Battlefords Union Hospital at the age of 76 years. Raymond was born in Macklin, SK on June 17, 1937. In 1960 he married Rose Krupka. Raymond was a farmer by trade, loved driving school buses and delivering new motor homes. Raymond is survived by his wife of 53 years, Rose; his children, Bernice Kopp-Dykens (Lyndon) and children, David, John and Albert of North Battleford, SK, Larry Kopp (Angie) and children, Jordon (Katelyn), Jessey, Cody and Katelyn of North Battleford, SK, Beverly Wiley (Ernest) and children, Tasha and Cole of Dalmeny, SK; his sister, Marge (Bill) Summerfelt of Wilkie, SK; brother, Edward (Regina) Kopp of Unity, SK; sisters-in-law, Violet Kopp of Battleford, SK and Joyce Kopp of Thompson, MB; step-brother, Lloyd Summerfelt of Wilkie, SK; step-sister, Doris (Gordon) Dillabough of Battleford, SK; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Magnus and Mary Kopp; brothers, Bud Kopp and Joe Kopp; and granddaughter, Kelsey; step brothers Gorden Summerfelt, Howard Summerfelt; step sister Noreen Gavin; and step father Jack Summerfelt. Funeral Mass took place on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Joseph Calasanctius Roman Catholic Church with Reverend Father Anthony Afangide as Celebrant. Interment took place in the Battleford Cemetery. Memorial Donations in memory of Raymond may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Trevor Watts of Eternal Memories Funeral Service and Crematorium. Condolences for the family may be left at Card of thanks The family of Raymond Kopp would like to extend sincere thanks to doctors, nurses, training nurses, and nurses in palliative care on the 3rd floor of Battlefords Union Hospital for the caring, compassion, and support received. We would like to thank Reverend Father Anthony Afangide and Father John Zunti. Thank you to those who sent flowers, sympathy cards, donations, prayers and to all who visited or called the family home with messages of sympathy and gifts of food. Sincere thanks to the CWL for lunch and Pastoral Care Servants of Hope for supper. To Mathew Kopp for singing and all those who helped with the service. We also would like to extend special recognition to Trevor Watts and Eternal Memories Funeral Service for their compassion and the excellent care in looking after the funeral arrangements.
