JONES, Winnifred Alice - died peacefully at the Belmont Long Term Care Facility, Belleville, ON, on Sunday, December 25th, 2011 in her 99th year. Daughter of the late Alexander and Jane Sayers. Beloved wife of the late Frank Jones. Loving mother of Terry (Doreen) Jones of Belleville, Wayne (Carol) Jones of Sherbrooke, QC, and Garry (Mona) Jones of Ottawa. Winnifred was the proud grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. She is survived by her brother Raymond Sayers of Abbotsford, BC and predeceased by her sisters Marjorie, Eunice, Whilma and Verna and by her brother Norman Sayers. The Funeral Service was held at the Steele Funeral Home, Moira Street Chapel, Belleville, ON (toll free 877-256-3688) on Friday, December 30th at 1:00 p.m.. Interment Service will be held at the North Battleford Municipal Cemetery, on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2012. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. at Territorial Alliance Church and proceed to the Cemetery. A lunch will follow the grave side service at the Alliance Church.
