JOHNSON: Helen Cecelia Johnson passed away peacefully at the Villa Pascal, North Battleford, Saskatchewan on Thursday, June 23, 2011 at the age of 92 years. Helen will be sadly missed by her 4 daughters: Christine (Garry) Schwan of Prince Albert, Grace (John) Gamble of North Battleford, Rita Johnson of Calgary, Joanne Johnson of Saskatoon; 8 Grandchildren: Lee Schwan, Dean Schwan, Jillian (Darin) Seeback, Neil Gamble (and his friend Jackie), Michelle (Gary) Chickeness, Jason Lofts, Janelle Lofts, Ashlee (Rob) Folkerson; 11 Great Grandchildren: Nash Seeback, Nolan Seeback, Jonden (Justine) Chickeness, Riley Chickeness, Lindsay Chickeness, Kelsey, Kaelyn, Maddix & Jaelyn Lofts, William Folkerson, Ava Folkerson; 1 Great Great Grandchild, Hadley Chickeness; 2 Sisters: Chryzantha & Bernard; as well as numerous other relatives. She was predeceased by her husband Fredolph, and infant Great Granddaughter Amie Chickeness. A prayer service for Helen was held at the Notre Dame Church, North Battleford, Saskatchewan on Monday, June 27, 2011 at 7:00 P.M. with Jean Pawlus officiating. The Mass of Christian Burial was conducted from the Notre Dame Church, North Battleford, Saskatchewan of Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. with Father Gerard Legaspi officiating. The organist for the mass was Joan Harrison. A eulogy was given by Chris Schwan. The honorary pallbearers were the Villa Pascal staff. The active pallbearers were Neil Gamble, Lee Schwan, Dean Schwan, Jonden Chickeness, Darin Seeback, Riley Chickeness and Jason Lofts. A private family interment was held at the Woodlawn Cemetery, North Battleford, Saskatchewan.McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements. CARD OF THANKS The family of the late Helen Johnson wish to express their gratitude for the kind expressions of sympathy and compassion shown to us on the passing of our dear Mother; through flowers, food, calls, cards, donations, mass offerings and all the hugs, kind words and prayers. Thanks to Jean Pawlus for the prayer vigil; to Father Gerard Legaspi for his support and prayers and the funeral mass; to Joan Harrison and the Notre Dame Choir for the music ministry; to Marguerite Kovalsky and the ladies for the delicious lunch. To all the Honorary and Active pallbearers, alter servers, special cross bearer (Nash Seeback), the readers and to Christine for delivering the eulogy. Thanks to Dr. Peter Holtzhausen for his many years of compassionate care of our "Mom". A special thanks to Mom's other family "the Villa Pascal Staff", who took such wonderful care of her for the last five years. You truly are angels!
