JANS: In Loving Memory of Kathy Carol Jans who was born March 21, 1956 at Saskatoon, SK and passed away May 31, 2012 at Battleford, SK. Carol is lovingly remembered by her mother, Eileen (Graham) Rutherford, Cut Knife, SK; sisters: Linda (David) Rogers, Cut Knife, SK and Betty Gordon, Hardisty, AB; brother, Robert (Bonnie) Jans, Salt Lake City, Utah, USA; numerous nieces and nephews. Carol was predeceased by her father, David Jans and her grandparents. A Memorial Service was held Monday, June 4, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. from Battlefords District Care Centre, Battleford, SK with Rev. Linda Emberley, Cut Knife United Church, Cut Knife, SK officiating. The Readers were Linda Rogers and Robert Jans: Psalm 23 and John 3:16-21 and Family Shared Memories given by Betty Gordon. Music Selections were "The Lord's Prayer", "Little Brown Church in The Vale", "Lord Of The Dance", "Little Jimmy Brown" and "Go Rest High On That Mountain". The Urn Bearer was Robert Jans. Memorials in Carol's Memory are requested to Battlefords District Care Centre, Box 69, Battleford, SK S0M 0E0. Interment took place at Wycollar Cemetery, Neilburg, SK.
