HIRSCHFELD , ERNA: June 6th, 1924 ~ May 14th, 2013. Family and friends are very sad to announce the passing of Erna. She was a very loving, caring mother of seven children, Ingrid (Fenton), Rita (David), Roger, Brenda (Doug), Ernie (Gale); 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; great great grandmother of one with two more to come, October 2013. She was predeceased by her husband, Adam; daughter, Edith and son, Byron. Erna was a spiritual Christian person with a very big heart, caring for others. The past four years were burdened with many health issues, that never wavered her sense of humor, faith and love for others. The Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 22nd, at Redeemer Lutheran Church (812 Preston Avenue). Interment to follow at 2:30 p.m. at North Battleford City Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Diabetes Association or the Kidney Foundation.
