HEAD: On Friday, November 4, 2011 Mrs. Mabel Irene Head of Cold Lake, Alberta passed away at the age of 95 years. Left to cherish her loving memory are her five children: William "Bill" (Melodi) Slater of Prince George, BC, Lyle (Darlene) Slater of Abbotsford, BC, Margaret (Ken) Godfrey of North Battleford, SK, George (Elaine) Head of Cold Lake, AB, Dale (Theresa) Head of Edam, SK; 15 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; two sisters: Lillian LaVasseur of Edam, SK, Mary Windo of Edam, SK; brother: George (Nancy) Milnthorp of North Battleford, SK. Mabel was predeceased by her first husband: Alfred Slater; second husband: Alan Head; father: William George Milnthorp; mother: Mabel Louise (Francks) Milnthorp; three brothers; two sisters. A Celebration of Mabel's Life will be held Friday, June 1, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Paul's Anglican Church, North Battleford, SK with Reverend Peter Norman officiating. A private family inurnment will take place later at Langmeade Cemetery, North Battleford, SK.
