DEYELL: With deep sadness, the family announces the passing of Don Deyell on Jaunary 14, 2012 at North Battleford, SK. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Jean; Jean's family, Don's cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Vic and Marie Deyell. Don was born in Moosomin, SK, but lived in BC for most of his life. Following their marriage, he moved to Jean's home in North Battleford. Don was a kind and caring man who always had a friendly word for anyone he met and, he loved to dance. For eight years, Don lived bravely with aplastic anaemia. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Battlefords Union Hospital and especially to the wonderfully caring nurses in the COPS room, the people in Admitting and the Lab, and those who work in Emergency. Don received many transfusions of platelets and blood during his illness. They truly are the "Gift Of Life" and Don was so grateful to those who would give of their time to make blood donations, especially platelets. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Third Avenue United Church in North Battleford. Memorials are requested to Battlefords Union Hospital Foundation, or, if able, be a blood donor at the next Blood Donor Clinic. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Battlefords Funeral Service. ____________________________________________________
