Cherishing Dan's memory are his loving sons: Curtis (Bev) Deneiko, Glaslyn, SK and their family: son, Brett (Kristi) Deneiko & Addesyn, Edmonton, AB; daughter; Lyndsay (Lee) Penner & Daxton, Lumsden, SK; Brian Deneiko, North Battleford, SK & his sons: Aaron & David Deneiko, Edmonton, AB; brothers and sisters: Eva (Nick) Dmytryshyn, Glaslyn, SK; Russ (Shirley) Deneiko, Young, SK; Ollie (Fred) Wittig, New Westminster, BC; Anne (Bob) Morrison, San Diego, California; Walter Deneiko, Calgary, AB; sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Sofia Stefaniw, North Battleford, SK and Morris Stefaniw, Calgary, AB; as well as uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and their families. Dan was predeceased by his parents, Mike and Martha Deneiko; his loving wife, Audrey Deneiko (January 28, 2006). Panakhyda ~ Prayer Service was held Friday, May 4, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. and the Funeral Service was held Saturday, May 5, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. with Very Rev. Father Taras Udod officiating; both Services from Ukrainian Orthodox Church of St. Peter & St. Paul, Glaslyn, SK. The Cross Bearer was Bohdan Danyliw; Banner Bearers ~ Myles Wittig, David Dmytryshyn, Morris Stefaniw and Bruce Deneiko and Altar Server ~ Nick Dmytryshyn. The Cantor and Choir Director was Mrs. Sally Lazarowich. The Honourary Pallbearers were Jim Campbell, Pete Mykytuk, Ed Urbanowski, Wayne Read, Harry Harasym, Gerald L'Heureux, Nat Sawchyn, Mervin Pritchett, Bill Pilat and Barry Mykytuk and Pallbearers were Jerry Dmytryshyn, Rene Cadrain, Randy Daneiko, Chris Matweow, Dean Wittig and Stuart Jamieson. Dan was Laid to Rest at Garden of Christus, Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, North Battleford, SK.
