DEAN (WALKER): Jean Margaret Dean (Walker) passed away on November 6, 2012, in Telkwa, B.C. Jean was born in Moose Jaw, in 1925 and was raised in Mazenod. She attended Normal School in Saskatoon. In 1946 she married Leslie Dean. They resided in North Battleford. Jean worked for many years for the North Battleford School Board. She spent many a day on the golf course; her proudest moment was her hole in one. She was active in the New Democratic Party. Jean moved in Regina in 2001 after the death of her husband. Jean moved to Telkwa, BC to live with her oldest daughter in 2011. She is survived by her children, Murray Dean (Ingrid Reid) of Regina, Shelley Pearson (Gordon) of Telkwa, BC, and Merril Dean (Garth Brasseur) of Yellowknife, her grandchildren, Wesley, Blake and Jana Munn, Michael and Robert Dean, Kali and Jacq Brasseur, and her great grandchildren, Dylan & Jolina Gilbert, Corbin, Isla and Amelia Munn; her brothers Donald, Lloyd and Edward, and her sister, Marion Pokiak.
