BUNZ: It is with great sadness the family of Doris Anne Bunz (nee Rauert) announces her sudden passing on February 10, 2013. Doris was born in Leroy on July 26, 1960 and took her primary schooling in Muenster. She spent many happy days on the family farm near St. Gregor where she grew up, and enjoyed many memorable summer vacations with her parents and siblings at Waskesui. She later attended a boarding school at St. Ursuline Academy in Bruno. While there she was very active in music, art and curling. Doris furthered her education at Marvel Beauty School in Saskatoon and went on to receive her Interprovincial Journeyman in Cosmetology. While selling chocolates to raise funds for a California high school trip she met the love of her life, Kevin. After he bought the whole case he swayed Doris into a first date. This led to a most loving marriage of over thirty-two years, one blessed with three beautiful children who meant the world to her. Doris' home was a picture of beauty and happiness. She embraced life and her gentle way was expressed through her artistic talents, painting, singing and gardening. Doris' family portraits and scenic landscapes were often received as gifts by those she knew. Today these images veil the walls of many in a visual display of her love and affection. She was also an accomplished businesswoman and was very proud of her home-based shop, Doris' Cuts And Styles. She loved her clients and they enjoyed many laughs together. Doris is survived by; her loving husband Kevin Bunz; son Chris; and daughters Shawna (finance Lincoln Ramsey) and Dayna; also by her parents Otto and Maria Rauert of Humboldt and her father-in-law Edmond Bunz (Rose Schlekewy) of Humboldt. She is also survived by sisters Linda Rauert (Tim Boechler) and Brenda (Dion) Engele all of Saskatoon, as well as brothers Andrew (Deanna) Rauert of St. Gregor and David (Lisa) Rauert of Regina; her sister-in-law Cheryl Wegleitner of Humboldt; her brothers-in-law Terry (Mariann Bleich) Bunz of British Columbia and Mark (Kim Bunz) of Alberta; and numerous nieces, nephews, close friends, and many relatives in Germany. Doris was predeceased by her mother-in-law Viola Bunz; grandparents Wilhelm and Helena Vaske; grandparents Theodore and Bertha Rauert; Godfather August Rauert. Doris welcomed everyone with a smiling face, a warm embrace and open arms.
