BEZMUTKO: John Bezmutko Born December 25, 1927 in Hafford, SK. Passed away August 23, 2012 in Hafford, SK. John was born the oldest of five sons to Peter and Rosie Bezmutko. John is survived by his wife of 58 years, Annie; his son Larry, wife Jeannie and their daughter Jenna; his daughter Darlene; his son James, wife Sylvia and their son Tyler; his brother Mike, wife Rose, and their family; and his sister-in-law Elizabeth. He was predeceased by his parents; his son Gordon; as well as his brothers Bill, Sam, and Tony. Dad was a farmer and he just loved his farm. When things were tough, he took a job at Cory Potash Mine that lasted 17 years. He instilled a strong work ethic in the kids and was a wonderful provider. Prayers were held on Thursday August 30, 2012. Funeral Service was held on Friday, August 31, 2012 with Father Taras Udod officiating. Both services were held at the Descent of the Holy Ghost Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Hafford, Saskatchewan. Interment took place at the Hafford Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations in John's memory may be made to Descent of the Holy Ghost Ukrainian Orthodox Church or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
