BEDIER, CECILE HERMANCE; Cecile, age 86, passed away peacefully in Hafford, on Monday, July 9th, 2012. Cecile is loved and remembered by her children, Gilbert (Gladys) Bedier, Delina (Dan) Herter, Irene Craig, Gloria (Dan) Riou, Prosper Bedier, Bernice (Dan) Kohut, Rene (Genie) Bedier and Celine (Larry) Worotniak; 21 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; sisters, Irene Talarski, Hermance (Mike) Wintonyk and Annette (Eugene) Wikstrom; brothers, Leon (Adele) Fendelet, Victor Fendelet and Albert (Betty Ann) Fendelet; sisters-in-law, Faye Rolstad, Maybelle Fendelet, Clarice Bedier, Cecile Fendelet, Eva Bedier, and Sally Bedier; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Cecile was predeceased by her husband, Celestin (1995); parents, Rene and Louise Fendelet; brothers, Arthur and Rene; brother-in-law, Leon Talarski. Cecile was born on March 22nd, 1926 and educated in Alberton, SK. She married Celestin Bedier, July 28, 1945 and together they farmed in the Hafford area. In 1966 they moved to Hafford and she worked at Shay's Drugs for many years. She was a dedicated member of St. Solange Parish and a long time member of the CWL. She enjoyed gardening, visiting and socializing with friends and neighbours. Cecile was an outstanding cook and loved her house full of family. The Vigil for Cecile was held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 13th, and the Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 14th. Both services were held at St. Solange Roman Catholic Church in Hafford. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Solange Parish in Hafford or the Canadian Diabetic Association.
