BAILLARGEON: HENRY, December 6, 1940 - January 22, 2013. The sudden passing of Henry on January 22, 2013, comes with great sadness. A mass of Christian burial was held Saturday, January 26, 2013 @ 2:00 pm at St. Leon Parish, Jackfish, SK with Reverend Father Phinh Do as celebrant. The Rite of Committal was held @ St. Leon Parish Cemetery. Henry was born in North Battleford to Albert and Louisa Baillargeon and spent the majority of his life on the farm near Jackfish, SK. He also took time to get his journeyman papers in the trade of welding. Often farmers would ask Henry for his help and he enjoyed stepping up to the challenge. His strong skill set and knowledge allowed him to conquer countless obstacles and he was truly passionate about his work. Henry's love for farming and respect for nature was evident, as he spent many hours outdoors. After his retirement, Henry could be found working on odd jobs for friends and family. He enjoyed driving across the country side in his old dodge truck, while stopping to visit with many people along the way. As well, Henry enjoyed going for coffee and was able to hold a conversation with anyone. His past hobbies included boating, ice fishing, playing guitar, hunting, metal detecting, golfing, carpentry and nature hikes. He also cherished the special moments he spent with his family and always looked forward to the next visit. Henry is lovingly remembered, truly missed and survived by his five children, Laura (Melvin) Heidt, Saskatoon, SK, Michelle Gervais, Paradise Hill, SK, Lorne (Wendy) Baillargeon, Saskatoon, SK, Kevin Baillargeon, Kamloops, BC, Karen (Sheldon) Dubas, Rama, SK, their mother, Donna Baillargeon, North Battleford, SK, thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Our family expresses a special thanks to Westwood Funeral & Cremation Services for all their help preparing for Henry's funeral services and luncheon. To Henry's many caregivers, we wish to express our thanks for their skills and commitment to helping Henry enjoy life to the fullest. Also, for all the prayers and condolences given to us during this difficult time and loss, our gratitude goes out to everyone who has shown us compassion. ____________________________________________________
